About us
lokalKraft Digital Energy Austria — Gesellschaft für Digitalisierung und erneuerbare Energiegemeinschaften is a non-profit association based in Vienna, founded in 2003.
We bring two worlds together:
- Digitalisation: promoting communication and IT education, developing and sharing new technologies — including our own research and development projects in AI and community applications.
- Renewable energy: as a citizen energy community under Section 16b ElWOG 2010 and Section 79 EAG 2021, we generate, use and distribute energy from renewable sources among our members — currently with a zero-euro tariff.
